The title and first look of Mammootty Kampany’s new movie are out today. This investigation thriller movie, directed by debutant Roby Varghese Raj, has been titled Kannur Squad, and Mammootty is playing the lead in it. Roby Varghese Raj is one of the popular cinematographers in Mollywood. This movie is Mammootty Kampany’s fourth production venture after Nanpakal Neratthu Mayakkam, Rorschach, and Kaathal, the Core. The screenplay for Kannur Squad has been written by Muhammad Shafi and actor Rony David Raj.
Kannur, Kasargod, Wayanad, Ernakulam, Trivandrum, Paala, Pune, Mumbai, Utharpradesh, Manglore, Belgaw, and Coimbatore were the locations in which this movie was filmed. Muhammed Rahil is the one who cranks the camera for this film, and Sushin Shyam is the music director. Praveen Prabhakar is the editor of this thriller flick. Dulquer Salman’s Wayfarer Films will distribute this movie all over Kerala. Shaji Naduvil is the production designer of this film, and Ronex Xavier managed the makeup department. While Arun Manohar and Abhijith were the costume designers, Tony Babu is in charge of the sound design of this movie.
