New Delhi: An incident of gang rape of a minor girl has come to light in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area. At the time of the incident, the minor girl had gone to the park with a friend. The age of the girl is about 16 years. At present, the police have arrested three accused, in which one is a minor. At the same time, one accused is still absconding.
According to sources, on the night of June 27, the victim was in the park with her friend. Only then three boys reached there. It is alleged that these three absconded after carrying out the rape incident. On receiving the complaint, the police registered an FIR and arrested the three accused. On the complaint of the minor in the case, a case of rape has also been registered against friend. The girl’s friend had fled from the spot after seeing the accused, whom the police is looking for. Delhi Police has registered a case under sections of gangrape and POCSO.
On June 27, a call was received about sexual harassment of a minor girl, after which the police immediately responded to the call and arrested one of the accused, Bobby, from the area near Shahbad Dairy. All the 4 accused have been identified, and 3 accused have been arrested, while one is absconding. The accused have been identified as Bobby s/o Uma Shankar r/o A55-56 Shahbad Dairy aged 19 years, Rahul Chhotu s/o Ashok Mandal r/o A-96 S.B. Dairy Delhi age 20, apart from these three, 2 minors have also been caught under 21 POCSO Act. One accused is absconding.
