Kochi: A doctor was brutally beaten up in Ernakulam General Hospital. House Surgeon Dr. Harish Muhammad was beaten up. Two people have been taken into police custody in connection with this. Josmil and Roshan are in police custody.
They came to the hospital this morning to see a patient. Harish Mohammad intervened to solve the problem when they harassed and misbehaved with a lady doctor. Then the problem was solved and the accused left the place. After this, both of them reached the place where the house surgeons were resting and beat up Harish.
The hospital superintendent responded that the attack was planned. The female doctor was harassed twice by the accused. He said that the attack was carried out in a planned manner. Sections related to assaulting health workers have been charged against them. Both will be produced in court soon.
