New Delhi: The central government is going to launch a new health scheme on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Central Government will start the Ayushman Bhava program on September 17 this year. So that the delivery of all the health schemes run by the government to the last mile people and every beneficiary can be ensured. In this matter, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that camps will be organized during this program and Ayushman Bharat cards will be given to 60,000 people. In the coming days, we will run this program more frequently for better access to health services and programs. Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is the world’s largest health protection scheme. Which provides health coverage of Rs 5 lakh annually to every beneficiary family. It is noteworthy that PM Modi was born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. Which is a small town in Mehsana district of North Gujarat.
Minister Mandaviya further said that last year you all saw that on the birthday of PM Narendra Modi, we had emphasized on the issue of Tuberculosis (TB). Earlier, PM Modi had said that the world’s target to eliminate TB is 2030 but India’s target is to eliminate TB by the end of 2025. Last year around 70,000 people became Ni-Ksay Mitra and adopted TB patients, which has now increased to one lakh. These TB patients have been adopted by NGOs, private individuals, political parties and corporates. They are being given nutritional kits every month and all possible assistance is being given to TB patients.
