അറ്റ്‌ലാന്റ: 2024 നവംബർ 2 ന് നടക്കുന്ന അറ്റ്‌ലാന്റയിലെ ക്നാനായ കാത്തലിക് അസ്സോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് ജോർജിയ (KCAG) എന്ന സാമൂഹ്യ സാംസ്കാരിക സംഘടനയുടെ രജത ജൂബിലി ആഘോഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായി ഇന്ത്യൻ കോണ്‍സുല്‍ ജനറല്‍ രമേശ് ബാബു ലക്ഷ്മണൻ മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായി പങ്കെടുക്കുമെന്ന് സംഘാടകർ അറിയിച്ചു.
Shri Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan is a career diplomat and joined the Indian Foreign Service in the year 2005. Prior to joining as Consul General of India at Atlanta, he served in Ministry of External Affairs in various capacities. He has served as Joint Secretary (Summits) looking after the operation aspects of G20 Meetings during India’s G20 Presidency. While heading Rapid Response Cell Division, as an additional charge, he was in-charge of the Ministry of External Affairs’ control room during the Operation Ganga. He also served as Director in Administration & Human Resources, and Policy Planning Divisions.
During his previous overseas diplomatic assignments, he served in various positions at Indian Missions in Moscow, Dushanbe, Paris and Colombo handling Political, Commercial and Cultural aspects of relations. During his last tenure in New Delhi (2011 to 2013), he was a Desk Officer for the southern African countries in Africa Division.
വിശിഷ്ടാതിഥിയായി ഇന്ത്യൻ കോണ്‍സുലേറ്റില്‍ നിന്നും കോണ്‍സുല്‍ ജനറല്‍ രമേശ് ബാബു ലക്ഷ്മണൻ വരുന്നത് ക്നാനായ സമൂഹത്തിനു മാത്രമല്ല, എല്ലാ മലയാളികൾക്കും പ്രചോദനമാകുമെന്ന് സംഘാടകര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
