Guruvayurappan Temple of Brampton will be celebrating the third anniversary of the Pratishta Dinam from the 4th of July to the 10th of July 2022. It is a Maholsavam celebrated with much pomp and joy and inspiring devotion and surrender to the supreme lord Krishna.
Even though the GTOB has been functioning as a temple for over 15 years the consecration puja was conducted in the year 2019 during which all the rituals were conducted as per the Tantric traditions. The temple continues to maintain the sanctity and ritualistic traditions as would any other temple in Kerala, India.
During this Maholsavam there will be multiple rituals and pujas conducted by our three Thirumenis along with other prominent Tantris who have been specially invited for the event. Cultural programs will be a big part of these days when dancers, singers and other creative artists can showcase their talent. Temple art forms like Kathakali, Mohiniattam etc will be given much prominence. Annadanam (food distribution) will be done on all of these days.
To be a part of this event is a blessing by itself and it is a great opportunity for everyone to re-ignite the spiritual spark and to benefit from the benevolence of Lord Guruvayurappan. GTOB is a universal temple accessible to all and the temple management would be happy to welcome everyone during this Maholsavam.
Hoping to see you all at the GTOB from July 4th-10th, 2022.
