New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh on July 7 and Telangana and Rajasthan the next day and inaugurate or lay foundation stones for projects worth about Rs 50,000 crore. The Prime Minister’s Office gave this information on Wednesday. A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of various development projects and dedicate them to the nation at a public event in Raipur on July 7 at around 10:45 am.
PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for five National Highway projects worth about Rs 6,400 crore, including four-laning of the 33-km Raipur-Kodebod section of the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway, four-laning of the 53-km Bilaspur-Pathrapali section of NH-130 This will include four-laning of NCR and three National Highway projects for the Chhattisgarh section and the six-lane greenfield Raipur-Visakhapatnam corridor.
He will dedicate to the nation the doubling of 103 km long Raipur-Khariar road rail line, 17 km new railway line connecting Keoti-Antagarh and a project completed at a cost of Rs 750 crore. Indian Oil Corporation’s bottling plant with a capacity of 60,000 metric tonnes per annum at Korba has been built at a cost of over Rs 130 crore. It further said that Modi will reach Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh at around 2:30 pm on July 7 and Geeta Will participate in the closing ceremony of the Centenary Celebrations of the Press. He will also flag off Vande Bharat trains from Gorakhpur.
In Gorakhpur, Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Gorakhpur Railway Station Redevelopment Project. On July 8, at around 10:45 am, the Prime Minister will reach Warangal in Telangana and attend a public event where he will lay the foundation stone for various projects. He will lay the foundation stone for several important infrastructure development projects in Telangana worth about Rs 6,100 crore.
