Raisen (Madhya Pradesh): An elderly tribal troubled by illness set himself on fire in village under Silvani police station area of the district. Due to this he died on the spot. The old man was suffering from leg infection for a long time. The swelling in one of his legs was increasing. After getting the information, Silvani police reached the spot and started investigation. Police has prepared the panchnama and sent the dead body to the civil hospital for postmortem.
Munna Adivasi, a 66-year-old Ramcharan tribal father, in Rajiv Nagar Tola of village Junia, just three kilometers away from Silvani, set himself on fire by pouring oil in the courtyard outside his own kutcha house on late Friday night, which led to his death. It is said that one of the deceased’s sons, Brijesh, who has been missing for two years, is not known. The wife of the deceased has already died. He lived alone in the house. He was suffering from leg disease for some time, it is being said that he took such a step due to discomfort due to infection in the leg. It is also being told that during the treatment in Raisen, the old man had overheard the doctor and the attendant, in which they were talking about amputating his leg due to increasing infection. The old man returned from the hospital distraught and committed suicide in the night. Police is waiting for the post mortem report to come, investigation has been started.
In this regard, SI Amarsingh Dhakad told that in Rajeev Nagar, an old Ramcharan tribal, troubled by illness, set himself ablaze by pouring oil, the police have established a route and taken it into consideration.
