Ingredients for making Gulab Jamun
Khoya means Mawa – 1 cup
Sugar – 4 cups
Cardamom – 3-4
Water – 3 cups
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Dry fruits – as needed
Ghee – 2 cups
Method
If you want to make Gulab Jamun at home, first mash the mawa well. Prepare a dough by adding baking soda to this mashed flour. After this, add two drops of ghee to soften this dough. While preparing the dough, keep in mind that it should not be too tight. After this, now prepare Gulab Jamun from this dough according to your own. Now put ghee in the pan and heat it properly.
Once the ghee is properly heated, slow down the gas and put the Gulab Jamuns in it. While they are getting ready, prepare the syrup of Gulab Jamuns. To prepare the sugar syrup, boil water and sugar together. Add cardamom powder to it for fragrance. When the gulab jamuns turn golden in color, take them out and put them in the sugar syrup. After some time, take out the gulab jamuns from the sugar syrup, put dry fruits on it and serve hot.
