Ghaziabad: After examining 95 patients, 10 new cases of dengue, including four children, have been found. Children are less than 10 years of age. Dengue testing has been increased at district hospitals as well as CHCs and PHCs. Samples are being taken for rapid test in OPD.
New cases of dengue have been found in Khoda Colony, Vasundhara, Arthala, Bagu, Sahibabad, Mohannagar, Pratap Vihar, Vijaynagar, Bhojpur and Sanjaynagar. District Surveillance Officer Dr. RK Gupta said that a total of 432 cases of dengue have been found since July 20. 19 cases of malaria and 15 cases of scrub typhus have been found. Viral is increasing due to humidity after rain. Every day 100 patients are being tested for dengue and malaria. A total of 589 fever patients reached the OPDs of both the government hospitals on Tuesday.
A total of 2250 patients reached the OPD of District MMG Hospital. CMS Dr. Manoj Kumar Chaturvedi said that among these, 422 sick children and 423 fever patients arrived. There are 123 admitted patients including 16 dengue patients. 890 patients reached the OPD of the Joint Hospital located in Sanjaynagar. Out of 166 patients with fever, 22 were admitted. CMS Dr. Vinod Chand Pandey said that 45 patients including two dengue patients are admitted.
