Team India captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar have announced India’s squad for the ODI series to be played against Australia through a press conference. Senior players including Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli have been rested for the first two matches. At the same time, experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has returned to the team. KL Rahul will lead the team in the first two matches while Rohit will take command of the team in the third ODI. The first ODI match between India and Australia will be played in Mohali on 22 September. The second match will be played in Indore on 24th September and the third match will be played in Rajkot on 27th September. Hardik holds the responsibility of Pandya’s vice-captain in the ODI team, but he has also been rested for the first two matches. In such a situation, BCCI has decided to make star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja the vice-captain of Team India. However, only Hardik Pandya will be seen in this responsibility in the last match of the series.
