New Delhi : The Women’s Reservation Bill has been passed in both the houses of the Parliament. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being given credit for this. Earlier governments had tried to get the bill passed, but were not successful. This is the first time that the bill has been passed by both the houses and will become law only with the signature of the President. There is an atmosphere of celebration in BJP since this morning. Women workers are gathered at the party headquarters. Dancing is taking place amidst the drums. Sweets are being distributed. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached here, he was given a grand welcome. PM Modi said in his address, ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Act’ has been passed by both the houses of the Parliament with record votes. The dream for which the country was waiting for the last several decades has now come true. Sometimes a decision has the potential to change the destiny of a country. Today we all have become witnesses of one such decision.
