Patna: In the extremely backward social awareness program organized by Rashtriya Janata Dal in Motihari, Bihar, there was a clash between the supporters of RJD leader Vinod Srivastava and RJD MLA Manoj Yadav over sitting on the chairs placed in front of the stage. The altercation even escalated into a fight. There was heavy kicking and punching from both sides. During this time many big leaders were present on the stage. This created an atmosphere of chaos in the auditorium.
The backward social awareness program was organized in Bapu Auditorium. Here a dispute broke out over sitting on the chairs in the front row and sloganeering. After this, a fierce scuffle started between the two sides among many state level leaders present on the stage. A worker’s head was also injured in the fight. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
In fact, Vinod Srivastava, very close to the Lalu family and former Lok Sabha candidate from Motihari, was made to sit in the second row instead of the first row on the stage. Due to this his supporters got angry and started shouting slogans. The workers said that priority is not being taken care of on the stage. Angered by this, Shyam Rajak taunted Vinod Srivastava from the stage. After that, RJD District President cum MLA Manoj Yadav ran from the stage and started beating the worker. Then workers from both sides clashed with each other. After the uproar, Vinod Srivastava was later made to sit in the first row.
