Do not keep these things according to Vastu –
According to Vastu Shastra, it is important for the office table to be in the right direction. You should place the table in such a way that its back is towards the wall. But even by mistake, the back should not be towards the main door, window or north-northeast direction, it has to face losses. Apart from this, if you want to keep a crystal paper weight on the table, then keep it in the north-east direction only. Apart from this, things like cups, bottles should always be kept on the table in the north direction. It is considered good to keep important documents on the right side, doing so helps in concentrating on work.
According to Vastu, black or red objects should never be kept on the office table, along with this, mirrors should also not be kept here as doing so has negative effects. There should not be scissors and needles on the office table. Also, false plates etc. should not be kept because these things have negative effects which create obstacles in progress.
