Cold war continues with Congress, why SP will contest Lok Sabha elections in UP on its own

Lucknow: The ongoing cold war between Congress and SP over seats in Madhya Pradesh elections is increasing. Now there is a fear that SP may enter the electoral fray on its own. The state executive meeting called by SP on October 31 seems to be emphasizing this point.

Political pundits say that the Congress, which is part of the Indian alliance, claims that it is preparing for all 80 seats, while the Samajwadi Party has also decided to conduct its Lok Jagran Yatra and training camps in all the Lok Sabha constituencies. SP has tried to send a message by calling a meeting of its state executive on October 31. His preparation may be to contest on all the seats. SP spokesperson Sunil Sajan says that SP is preparing to contest elections on all its 80 seats. Everything from booth to sector is being strengthened. Now, in the State Working Committee to be held on 31st, there will be talk of appointing workers for the elections being held in other states along with Lok Sabha.

Senior political analyst Amodkant Mishra says that the tension in the relationship between Congress and SP is continuously increasing. There is resentment in the SP leadership regarding this. After not getting seats in five states, the rift with SP is not reducing. Distrust is increasing between both the  parties. Somewhere due to poster war and somewhere due to Muslim love, these are further escalating the fight. SP must be making its own preparations.
