Survey exposes Trudeau government; Canada’s PM will lose badly if elections are held today

Ottawa: The popularity of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau seems to be continuously decreasing. According to a new survey, nearly two out of three Canadians have a poor impression of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Half of the people in the survey sample want the Canadian PM to resign before the next elections. While many believe that Trudeau’s policies and public debt top the list of reasons why people want Trudeau to resign. Some people in the survey believe that Trudeau should resign simply because they are fed up with him.

The Leger poll conducted for The Canadian Press shows there is widespread dissatisfaction with the Liberal government on everything from inflation to health care, government spending and climate change. The survey was conducted online in Canada last weekend.1,612 people had responded to this survey. In the survey, 30% people said they were satisfied with Trudeau’s government, while 63% said they were dissatisfied. In Quebec, 34% of respondents said they were satisfied with the government and 61% were dissatisfied.

Trudeau’s credibility is declining
Surveys conducted in September this year show that if elections are held now, Trudeau will lose his power. According to an Ipsos survey published in Canada’s Global News, 40 percent of respondents believe that Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre should become Prime Minister. At the same time, Trudeau is at second place in this list. He was liked by 31 percent people. According to the report, Ipsos CEO Darrell Bricker believes that if elections are held today, the Conservatives can form a government.

Of those surveyed, 31 percent supported Trudeau.Of these, 34 percent are men and 29 percent are women.Whereas, 38 percent did not respond.Poilievre, who was in first place, was liked by 40 percent of the people.43 percent men and 39 percent women are in his support.In the case of the Conservative leader, 18 people did not answer or chose the other option.

Jagmeet Singh stood third in this survey, he was supported by 22 percent people. Of these, 18 percent are men and 26 percent are women.Whereas, Yves-Francois Blanchet stood fourth with 6 percent support.
