Along with Ranbir Kapoor, the ferocious avatar of Bobby Deol was also seen in the trailer. At the film’s trailer launch event held in Delhi, Bobby Deol revealed how he got this role.
Bobby said, “I was not getting work, I did not think that I could get such a role. One day I got a message from Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He said that I want to meet you, so I said, is it true that he is the real Sandeep or is someone just having fun? When I inquired, I came to know that it was Sandeep Reddy Vanga. I immediately called and said let’s meet.
Bobby Deol further said that when we met, he showed me a picture. He had a photo when I was not doing much work, but I used to play Celebrity Cricket League. A photo was taken there, where I was searching for a door somewhere. Showing the photograph, he said that I want to cast you in the film for this, because I want this photograph of yours and your expression in it. I said, let the days of unemployment come in handy.
Bobby Deol will be seen in the role of villain in ‘Animal’. This look of Bobby has added to his villainy. A very small glimpse of Bobby is shown in the trailer, but that is enough to bring life to the trailer. It was seen in the trailer that Ranbir Kapoor becomes an animal in the love of his father Anil Kapoor, after which he competes with Bobby Deol.
Talking about the release of the film, Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga will be released in theaters on December 1, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
