How to make Jaipur’s famous Onion Kachori at home; know the easy recipe

If you have ever been to Jaipur, you must have eaten Onion Kachori. Whoever eats this special Kachori once, will not be able to forget its taste. In such a situation, if you want, you can make it at home very easily. In today’s article, we will tell you how to make such onion shortbread, which everyone will praise you after eating. You will not need many things to make this. 

Onion Shortbread Ingredients

Fennel 
flour
1.5 cup gram flour
2 large onions
chopped with leaves 2-3 green chillies
finely chopped ginger
coriander
1/2 tsp celery
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 small garlic clove

Method

First of all, add flour, gram flour, salt and celery in a big bowl. After this, mix all these ingredients well.

Now add water little by little and knead the gram flour. Prepare it and keep it aside for some time. After keeping it for some time, prepare the stuffing.  

To prepare the stuffing of onion shortbread, when the oil becomes hot, add cumin, fennel and a pinch of asafoetida and fry. After this, add chopped onions to the pan and cook until the onions turn golden.

After this, add ginger paste and chopped green chillies to the onion and fry for some more time. After frying it properly, keep it aside to cool. Be sure to add green coriander on top.

When the stuffing cools down, take a ball and roll it lightly. After this, fill it with onion stuffing and press it from all sides and close it. Finally, bake it until it turns golden. You can serve it with green coriander chutney.
