Bhopal: A drop in day temperature has been recorded in the entire state on Sunday. Due to this, the minimum temperature may also drop on Monday. There is a possibility of light fog in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal and Sagar divisions on Monday also. Due to changing direction of winds, there is slight fluctuation in night temperature in the state.
On Sunday, the minimum temperature in six cities of the state was recorded below 10 degrees Celsius, which was less than the night temperature of 10.4 degrees Celsius recorded in Pachmarhi. The lowest temperature of 6.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Datia in the state. Due to fog in Gwalior, visibility was 100 meters in the morning and 200 meters in Datia. Former senior meteorologist Ajay Shukla said that the maximum temperature has dropped in the entire state on Sunday. Apart from this, the western disturbance around Pakistan has also ended.
The wind direction is also likely to be northern on Monday. Because of this, shivering can be felt even during the day. On the other hand, a new western disturbance is also likely to reach North India on January 16. Due to its effect, partial cloud cover may occur. Meteorological Center meteorologist SN Sahu said that the western disturbance around Pakistan has ended. The direction of the winds is changing to south-eastern and south-western. There are slight fluctuations in temperature due to frequent changes in wind direction.
