Ayodhya: Ram temple in Ayodhya ready for Prana Pratishtha. The final ritualistic rites are in progress before the idol consecration. The flower-lit temple and its surroundings are a place of devotion. Invited guests have started arriving at the temple.
Prana Pratishtha is believed to be a tantric ritual of infusing the soul into an idol. It is performed by chanting Moolamantra. Only 84 seconds is the auspicious moment for prana pratishtha. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister will land at the Ayodhya helipad at 10.20 am and reach the temple at 10.50 am. Modi will arrive with holy shrines collected from 22 temples in Rameswaram. Modi will take a dip in Sarayunadi and visit the Hanuman temple in Ramgad. After passing through the main gate, Simhadwar, you will reach the temple.
Rituals are performed in the garbhagriha. The idol of Ramlalla had already been installed. Kalasha will be performed on the idol with 114 pots of water mixed with various herbs. According to belief, Rama was born after twelve o’clock in the afternoon. So the function is scheduled from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Muhurta for Prana Pratishtha is between 12.29.08 and 12.30.32. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat and members of the temple trust will be present at the Garbhagriham during this. Acharya Laxmikant Dixit from Varanasi will lead the ceremony under the supervision of Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid.
After prana pratishtha, offerings of 56 dishes are offered to the deity. Then Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the main gate of the temple for the devotees. The Prime Minister will then address the invited guests. There will be seven thousand people in the seats here.
13,000 personnel from various forces including NDRF, SDRF and police have been deployed to provide security. Security personnel including Mufti will tighten arrangements. Around 10,000 cameras have also been installed.
Facilities have been prepared in 51 spaces to park the vehicles of those attending the function. It is expected to reach 22,000 vehicles. The Pratishtha will be preceded by ‘Mangaladhwani’, a musical performance with more than 50 musical instruments. Artists from 18 states will perform for two hours.
