Assam Cabinet has decided to visit Ayodhya Ram temple on 22 February. This decision was taken during the cabinet meeting under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
CM Sarma gave this information on social media platform X. He said in his post, ‘The Cabinet expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the auspicious occasion of the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Along with this he also congratulated the people of India. The entire cabinet will go to Ayodhya on 22 February to visit Ramlala.
CM informed that the state cabinet has decided to give land to landless natives in ten districts. He said, ‘Land will be given to landless natives under Mission Basundhara 2.0 in Sonitpur, Tinsukia, Dhemaji, Nagaon, Vishwanath, Kamrup (Metropolitan), Kamrup, Bongaigaon, Goalpara and Dhubri districts.’
He said that 84 percent of these families belong to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and More Other Backward Classes. To curb paper leaks, the Assam Examination Bill 2024 has been approved by the cabinet. It will be presented in the Assembly during the budget session on February 5.
