(Eastern Bergen County (New Jersey) — The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County will celebrate International Women’s Day with ‘Girls Night Out’, an evening of fun and fundraising, to support women’s health, empowerment and economic independence. The festive event takes place during Women’s History Month on Monday, March 4 at Donatella Ristorante, located at 12 Tappan Rd. in Harrington Park, New Jersey 07648, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event’s net proceeds will support the organization’s grantees serving girls and women of all ages.
Mistress of ceremonies Gillian Stollwerk Garrett from Gilly’s Organics will present the evening’s program and highlights. Guests will enjoy a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and desserts. The program features a live fashion show by Max Mara of its latest designs and POP Up shops by women entrepreneurs.

The founders’ vision was to fill a chest with individuals and businesses’ generous contributions and to empty the contents by awarding competitive grants to support worthy projects led by local nonprofit agencies in the area demonstrating the capacity to provide services to local residents. Founded in 1933, The Community Chest, a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, has supported local not-for-profit agencies for 91 years. The Chest leads initiatives and supports nonprofits that make our communities stronger and benefit people in need in eastern Bergen County.
