Here we are telling the recipe of tasty vegetable prepared from makhana and peas which you can prepare quickly.

To make Matar Makhana, you need…
1 cup peas
1 cup makhana
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp Kasuri methi
1/2 tsp garam masala
Salt as per taste
2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp Oil
1 teaspoon cumin
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon stick
2 cardamoms
1 star anise
3 tomatoes
1/4 cup cashew nuts
1 piece ginger
2 green chillies

How to make Matar Makhana vegetable:
To make Matar Makhana vegetable, first heat ghee in a pan and roast it.After the makhana is roasted, add some more ghee in the pan and then add cumin seeds, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaves.Then add finely chopped green chilli and finely chopped ginger to it.Add tomatoes to it and mix well.Add salt to the tomatoes and then let it melt.When it melts well, add cashew nuts.Now take out some tomatoes and cashew nuts and make a paste.Now add boiled peas in it and cover it.After peas are cooked, add tomato and cashew paste to it.Add some water and add all the spices.Cook for some time and then add garam masala and kasoori methi and mix.Garnish with green coriander and serve.
