Beijing: China has said that deployment of more Indian troops on LAC is not right to reduce tension between the two countries. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that we are ready to work with India for peace and stability on the border and its surrounding areas.
Mao Ning further said- However, India’s steps regarding LAC are not in favor of establishing peace. In fact, according to many media reports, India has removed about 10 thousand soldiers from its western border and deployed them near the LAC. However, this has not been confirmed yet by the Indian Army or government.
Situation with India on LAC is normal
A few days ago, the spokesperson of China’s Defense Ministry had said that at present the situation with India on the LAC border is normal. On February 19, the 21st round of Corps Commander level meeting was held between the two countries. During this, positive talks took place between India and China. China had said that both the countries agreed to find a solution keeping in mind each other’s concerns regarding LAC. However, India had said that in the 21st round of Corps Commander-level meeting at Chushul-Moldo border point, China rejected India’s demand to withdraw troops from the track junction of Depsang and Demchok.
