In my time serving as Chief of Staff for Fort Bend and winning a competitive Primary Election, I’ve seen up close how our county works.I’ve seen that we’re an incredible, diverse community. I’ve seen that we have each other’s backs, and that we can get through even the toughest crises together. And I’ve also seen up close the ways we need to improve – and that means including our young residents in local government.
We are calling on all young residents of Fort Bend County to help plan, strategize, organize, and mobilize for true policy change and reform. Our issues are only becoming more complex and numerous which is why we need you, the next generation of community leaders, to define the years to come. So apply for our internship program and spread the word!
As the future leaders of our County, State, and Country, we need you join the Patel Campaign to learn about our county, connect with incredible mentors, help contact fellow residents, work collectively to identify major issues, develop plans, and work with stakeholders to achieve progress. From increasing youth voter registration, running a strong campaign, and much more, this is the time to get involved. This Friday, April 19th is the deadline, so don’t wait!
This campaign will be run by the people of Fort Bend County, of all ages, including young folks, elders, community leaders, faith leaders, and all those that can help. So join our internship and spread the word to your friends!
Thank you so much,
Taral Patel Campaign for County Commissioner
