Kiran Rao had suffered the pain of miscarriage before the birth of Azad

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao made headlines after announcing their divorce. Kiran Rao was in the news recently for her film ‘Laapta Ladies’. Both of them were seen promoting this film together while raising their son Azad together. Now recently, Kiran Rao has made many interesting revelations about her personal life and her son Azad. Recently, in an interview, Kiran Rao has talked openly about motherhood and told that before the birth of her son Azad, She has also suffered the pain of miscarriage. Kiran shared that she had health issues at that time and even after trying hard to have a child, she had to endure the pain.

Kiran said, “The year Dhobhi Ghat was built, the same year Azad was born. Even before that, for five years I had tried very hard to have a child. I had to face a lot of miscarriages, a lot of personal, physical health problems. It was very difficult for me to have a child.” Kiran further said, “I was really keen to have a child, so when Azad was born… I did not have to take any decision. Obviously, I just wanted to raise my child.” After Azad’s birth, Kiran took a break from film direction and said that she had no regrets about not making films for more than 10 years. He said, “I enjoyed living with Azad very much. Those were some of the best years of my life. I will never regret not making a film in 10 years. I have no regrets because I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
