Shimla: President Draupadi Murmu will visit Himachal from May 4 to 8. On 6th, the President will attend the convocation ceremony of Central University, Dharamshala. Will worship at Sankat Mochan and Taradevi temples on 7th morning. In the afternoon, we will take a walk in Mallroad and Ridge grounds. There is a plan to go to the Gaiety Theater in the evening. For the first time, a dinner will be organized by the President at Raj Bhavan on May 7. The President will return to Delhi on 8th.
On Monday, a meeting was held in the State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena regarding the preparations for the President’s visit to Himachal. The Chief Secretary instructed all the departments to complete the preparations on time. On May 4, Governor Shivpratap Shukla will receive the President at Jubbarhatti Airport. The convoy of vehicles of the President will reach the President’s residence at Chharabra via road from the airport.
