Wellington: New Zealand will be the first country to announce a 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup in June between the US and the West Indies. Kane Williamson is the captain. Henty slotted into a seam bowling attack that included Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Lockie Ferguson. Rachin Ravindra, who performed well as an all-rounder for New Zealand in the last ODI World Cup, is also in the team. This is the first T20 World Cup for both of them. This is the fourth time Williamson has captained New Zealand’s T20 World Cup team. “The venues in the West Indies and the US are completely different, and the team will have to face different conditions, and a team has been selected that is likely to adapt to those conditions,” Black Caps coach Gary Stead said in a news release.
