Lucknow: Voting has taken place on 26 out of total 80 seats of Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections . Now the battle for the fourth phase has intensified. Voting will be held on 13 seats in this phase. This includes Shahjahanpur, Kheri, Dhaurahara, Sitapur, Hardoi, Misrikh, Unnao, Farrukhabad, Etawah, Kannauj, Kanpur, Akbarpur and Bahraich. Voting for the fourth phase will take place on May 13. In this phase, many veterans like SP President Akhilesh Yadav, Ajay Mishra Teni and Sakshi Maharaj are in the fray.
In the fourth phase of elections for 13 seats, in 2019, BJP had won 12 seats. This time also BJP is preparing to do a clean sweep here. In such a situation the election has become very interesting.
– BJP has made Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni its candidate from Kheri Lok Sabha seat . Ajay Mishra has been an MP twice, this time he has entered the field with the intention of a hat-trick. Utkarsh Verma is contesting on this seat from SP side. Teni’s son is accused in the case of crushing farmers with a jeep.
On the Shahjahanpur Lok Sabha seat, BJP’s Arun Kumar Sagar is contesting against Samajwadi Party’s Jyotsna Gond. On behalf of the BSP , Dodd Ram Verma is contesting on this seat.
Everyone’s eyes are also on Unnao Lok Sabha seat . On this seat too, BJP has made Sakshi Maharaj, who has been a two-time MP, its candidate. Whereas Anu Tandon is beating the drum from SP’s side. Anu Tandon had helped Congress win the seat in 2009. Ashok Pandey has been given ticket from BSP.
This time the fight on Kannauj Lok Sabha seat is very interesting . This seat is called the stronghold of SP. In the year 2019, BJP MP Subrata Pathak had defeated Dimple Yadav here, but this time he is facing SP President Akhilesh Yadav.
– On Kanpur Lok Sabha seat, BJP has fielded Ramesh Awasthi by canceling the ticket of MP Satyadev Pachauri. His contest is against Alok Mishra of Congress. BSP has made Kuldeep Bhadauria its candidate.
BJP has also given ticket to two-time MP Rekha Verma from Dhaurahra Lok Sabha seat . While Anand Bhadauria from SP and Shyam Kishore Awasthi from BSP are in the election fray.
– BSP once had a good influence on Sitapur Lok Sabha seat , but for the last two times, BJP’s Rajesh Verma has been winning the elections here. For the third time, BJP has given ticket to Rajesh Verma, who is contesting against SP’s Rakesh Rathore.
Hardoi Lok Sabha seat has been held by BJP for the last two times . BJP has placed its bet on the sitting MP from here, Jai Prakash Sharma. While former MP Usha Verma is in the fray from SP’s side to contest him, BSP has made the contest triangular by giving ticket to Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Talking about Furrukhabad Lok Sabha seat, Mukesh Rajput from BJP is in the fray with the intention of scoring a hat-trick, Naval Kishore Shakya from SP is in the fray .
– SP has also had a significant influence on Etawah Lok Sabha seat . Ramshankar Katheria, a two-time BJP MP, is contesting elections from here. While SP has placed its bet on Jitendra Dohra and BSP on Sarika Singh.
Talking about Akbarpur Lok Sabha seat, BJP ‘s current MP Devendra Singh Bhole is contesting from here for the third time and he is facing competition from former SP’s MP Rajaram Pal and BSP’s Rajesh Dwivedi.
– On Bahraich seat, BJP has fielded Arvind Gaur by canceling the ticket of sitting MP Akshaybar Lal, while Ramesh Gautam has been made the candidate from SP’s side.
– BJP has been winning the Misrikh Lok Sabha seat for the last two times. This time too, BJP has made Dr. Ashok Rawat its candidate while Sangeeta Rajvanshi from India Alliance and BR Ahirwar from BSP are contesting the elections.
