Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam has hit back over a statement by Priyanka Chaturvedi, MP of Uddhav Thackeray group in Maharashtra. While addressing the public meeting, Priyanka Chaturvedi reportedly said, “It is written on Shrikant Shinde’s forehead that my father is a traitor.” Now anger is being seen in Shiv Sena regarding this statement.
What did Sanjay Nirupam say?
Nirupam wrote in ‘ If he believes in his statement then it should be written on his forehead that my father is a great traitor. Because his father broke the alliance with BJP.
Nirupam further said, “His father had committed the great betrayal by paying homage to Balasaheb’s ideas and joining hands with the Congress, of which he was a lifelong opponent. Why does the UBT smell like a snake on this great betrayal?” Three phases of Lok Sabha elections have taken place in Maharashtra and two phases are still left. All the parties are busy campaigning for the fourth phase.
