Japan developed the world’s first 6G device

Tokyo: Japan has built the world’s first 6G prototype device in collaboration with major telecom companies. It is claimed that 6G will be able to reach the milestone of 100 gigabit speed, which is many times more capable than the 5G network.

The prototype of the advanced 6G device was developed by Japanese telecom companies such as DOCOMO, NTT Corporation, NEC Corporation and Fujitsu. The trial of the 6G device was completed on April 11. It is being touted as a significant milestone in the development of 6G technology.

Compared to 5G, 6G technology is said to offer 20 times the performance. At the same time, 6G has some advantages such as high data transmission but has some limitations including limited ‘range’. The 6G network is expected to transform the world and contribute significantly to the growth and development of IoT (Internet of Things) applications.
