DAC to train differently-abled children in graphic design and editing

Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram-based Different Art Centre (DAC) will organise a training programme in graphic design and editing for differently-abled children, on May 24, Friday. The training programme under the aegis of a new project called IMAGE (Initiative for Mentoring Amiable Graphics and Editing) will be conducted by the DAC in collaboration with Toonz Academy.

The programme aims at developing job skills among differently-abled children and increase employment opportunities for them. The training programme will be inaugurated by Dr Ratan U Kelkar, Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala, at 10 am, on Friday at the DAC. Vinod AS, Vice President, Toonz Academy; Gopinath Muthukad, Executive Director, Different Art Centre; Dr. Anil Nair, Intervention Director; and Sunilraj CK, Manager, will participate.
