Ajit Pawar said that baseless allegations related to the Porsche accident are being made against Pune MLA Sunil Tingre. Let us tell you that Tingre belongs to the Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and represents Vadgaon Sheri assembly constituency of Pune city. Asked about Tingre’s name surfacing in connection with the case, Pawar told reporters, ‘Sunil Tingre is the MLA of the area where the incident took place. Whenever such incidents occur, the local MLA often visits the spot. Did Sunil Tingre try to suppress the matter? The allegations leveled against him are baseless.

When Ajit was asked whether he had called Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar after the incident, Pawar said, ‘I often call the Police Commissioner on many issues, but I have not even called him on this matter. not done.’ Two IT professionals were killed in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar on the morning of May 19 when a Porsche, allegedly driven by a minor, hit their two-wheeler. Police claim that the minor was drunk.

Pawar said that Home Department head Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had directed the Pune Police to conduct a thorough investigation the very next day of the accident. He said, ‘Even Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has given the right instructions. Action was taken against police officials who initially delayed the process. People from Sassoon General Hospital involved in the case have also faced police action.
