The first cabinet meeting of the third term of Modi government begins

New Delhi: The first cabinet meeting of the third term of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started. All the Union Cabinet Ministers including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and HD Kumaraswamy are present in this meeting being held at the Prime Minister’s residence. Before the start of the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the employees in the PMO on Monday. He said that in the coming years we have to work beyond global standards. He said that we have to take our country where no one has reached. Meanwhile, suspense still persists over the division of departments among the newly appointed ministers of the Modi government. After the first meeting of the cabinet, an announcement related to division of departments among the ministers is expected to be made by late evening.

Earlier, the Prime Minister said, “It has been my endeavor from the beginning that the PMO should become an establishment of service and People’s PMO (People’s Prime Minister’s Office). Government means new energy of strength, dedication and resolutions. For our team, there is neither any restriction of time, nor any limitations of thinking, nor any fixed criteria for efforts. The employees of the Government of India also deserve this victory, who left no stone unturned in dedicating themselves to a vision. These elections seal the efforts of every government employee for 10 years. You people are the great deserving and true deserving people of this victory.”
