New Delhi: Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi on Monday met Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi. During this, Congress MP from Rae Bareli Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi were also present with her. Congress gave this information on the official social media platform ‘X’. Bangladesh Prime Minister met Sonia Gandhi with a hug. Along with this, she also hugged Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.
Sheikh Hasina arrived in Delhi on Saturday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this, she participated in PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony at the Presidential courtyard on Sunday. Top leaders of India’s neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean region, including Maldives President Mohammad Muizzu, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, participated in this program.
