Farah Khan’s mother and Daisy Irani and Honey Irani’s sister Menaka Irani is no more in this world. Farah’s mother breathed her last at the age of 79 in Mumbai on Friday. According to reports, she was ill for some time. The news of Menaka’s death has come as a big shock to the film industry. Fans are also paying tribute to her with sadness.
Just two weeks ago, Farah celebrated her mother’s 79th birthday. She shared photos with her mother on Instagram and talked about her illness. She said, “We all take our mothers for granted, especially me. Last month I realized how much I love my mother Menaka. She is the strongest and bravest person I have ever seen. Even after several surgeries, her sense of humor is still intact.”
Farah Khan further wrote, “Happy birthday Maa. Today is a good day to come back home. I am waiting for you to get strong so that you can start fighting for me again. I love you.”
Farah Khan’s mother Maneka herself has been an actress. She worked with Salman Khan’s father and writer-actor Salim Khan in the film ‘Bachpan’ in the year 1963. This was Maneka’s only movie. After this film flopped, Maneka distanced herself from cinema. Then she married producer Kamran Khan.
