Muslims are protecting temples in Bangladesh, army is also deployed

Dhaka: Amidst the protests in Bangladesh, some students have started a campaign. These people are protecting the temples in turns, so that the protesters cannot target the temples. It is worth noting that the Kali temple in Kandipara village of Narsingdi district has been attacked. Visuals of students guarding Dhaka’s Dhakeshwari temple at 3 o’clock in the night are going viral. Large scale protests are going on in Bangladesh. PM Sheikh Hasina has left the country and come to India and the army has taken over the front.

Muslim religious leaders of Bangladesh are also protecting the temples. Apart from this, the army is deployed in Hindu areas. The coordinators of the nationwide movement in Bangladesh asked the students to ensure that no one gets a chance to loot in the situation created in the country after PM Sheikh Hasina’s removal from office. Along with this, the coordinators have urged the students to protest peacefully. Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the movement, told the students that no one should get a chance to loot in the current situation.

Nahid said that we have to protect our national property. No one should get a chance to loot on this occasion. He appealed to the students to sit peacefully on the streets, saying that the aim of their movement is to reform the oppressive system among other things. In Dhaka, Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman said that Hasina has resigned from the post of PM and an interim government is going to take charge.
