Dry Red Chilli Chicken

Ingredients
• Chicken boneless – ½ kg
• Chilli – 12 nos
• Sesame flour / cornflour – 6 tbsp
• Ginger – 2 inch piece
• Garlic – 10 cloves
• Small onions – 15 nos
• Curry leaves – 2 leaves
• Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
• Chili powder – 1¼ tbsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
• Coconut Oil – Enough for frying
• Salt – enough

How to prepare
• Clean the chicken and cut it lengthwise into small pieces.
• Grind ginger (1 inch piece), garlic (5 cloves), curry leaves (1 leaf), lemon juice, salt, 1 tablespoon of chili powder and turmeric powder.
• Apply the grated mixture on the chicken and keep it for 1/2 hour.
• Finely chop the rest of the ginger, garlic and small onions.
• Mix semolina/cornflour with 4 tbsp of water and coat the chicken well.
• Heat oil in a pan and add chicken and fry until brown.
• Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan. After reducing the flame, add grated chilli and when it turns brown, add garlic, ginger, small onion, curry leaves and salt and fry.
• When it turns golden, stir in ¼ tablespoon of chili powder. Then add fried chicken to it and turn off the flame.
