New Delhi: Tamannaah Bhatia, known for her captivating dance performances in films like Jailer and Stree 2, recently opened up about her experience working alongside the legendary Rajinikanth. In a conversation on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Tamannaah called the superstar “the most humble” person she has ever met, despite his iconic status. She praised Rajinikanth’s down-to-earth nature, stating, “He is the purest person you will ever meet. Even with the immense fan following and the hundreds of films he has done, he remains the most humble person. He is a demi-god. It’s not a put-on, it’s real.”
Tamannaah also recalled a memorable moment from shooting the hit song Kaavaalaa for Jailer. She shared how Rajinikanth’s presence on set energized the crew, especially when he performed a dance step that drew cheers and applause from the background dancers. “After the take, he turned around and waved at them, acknowledging their existence. He values his fans, and he validates them.”
She further explained that Rajinikanth’s humility and respect for his fans are what make him a true superstar. “When creative people say they do it for themselves, I don’t understand it. Rajinikanth, who is revered as a god, still validates every fan because he knows they are the reason for his stardom. Many actors come and go, but few achieve the level of stardom that Rajinikanth has, and that comes from the people.”
