Manchurian Recipe: Manchurian is a Chinese dish which has become quite popular among Indians. People like its spicy and tangy taste. If you want, you can make the same market-style Manchurian at home. It is very easy to make and you will need only a few ingredients.
Ingredients for making Manchurian
250 gms chopped cauliflower florets
250 gms chopped capsicum
200 gms chopped onion
100 gms chopped garlic
100 gms chopped ginger
200 gms soybeans
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp chilli flakes
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp ajinmoto (optional)
1 tbsp cornflour
2 cups water

How to make Manchurian
Soak the soybeans in water. When it becomes soft, squeeze it to remove the water. Now mix it with cornflour, soy sauce, tomato sauce, red chili sauce, chili flakes, sugar, and ajinmoto (if using) and mix well. Now prepare small balls.
Cut cauliflower florets, capsicum, onion, garlic and ginger into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the vegetables till they turn golden. Once fried, take out the vegetables in a separate plate.
Heat some oil in the same pan. Now add soybean balls to it and fry them till they turn golden.
In the same pan, mix soy sauce, tomato sauce, red chili sauce, chili flakes, sugar and ajinmoto (if using). Now add water to it and mix well.
Add fried vegetables and fried Manchurian balls to the sauce and mix well. Let it cook for a few minutes so that the vegetables and Manchurian mix well with the sauce.
Now your delicious Manchurian is ready. Serve it hot. You can serve it with rice or noodles.
Keep these things in mind-
If you want to make Manchurian more spicy then you can add more chili flakes or red chili sauce to it.
If you want to make Manchurian more sweet then you can add some more sugar to it.
You can also add other vegetables like carrots, peas, or cauliflower to Manchurian.
