Winter Health Tips: Winter has started in Delhi-NCR. As soon as the winter season arrives, one has to face problems like cough and cold. In such a situation, you can keep yourself healthy by following some things in the diet. To keep the body fit in winter, it is advisable to eat laddus and drink hot milk. Especially dry fruits and fenugreek laddus are made in almost every house in the winter season.
These laddus help in keeping the body warm and increasing strength. Consuming these laddus is not only beneficial for health, but it also reduces body pain. Let us know the method of making fenugreek and dry ginger laddus.
Material
3/4 cup fenugreek (soaked in milk)
500 gms jaggery
1 cup chickpea flour
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup pure ghee
1/2 cup glue
2 teaspoons dried ginger
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup almonds
6-7 green cardamoms (ground)
Method of preparation
Wash fenugreek thoroughly and soak it in 2 cups of milk. If you want, you can grind it and then soak it. Then heat ghee in a pan and first fry almonds, cashews, and finally walnuts. At the same time, fry the gum on low flame till it becomes crispy. Add fenugreek in the remaining ghee and fry lightly. When it starts releasing ghee, add dry ginger. Add gram and wheat flour in the same pan and fry till it turns golden.
After this, put a spoonful of ghee in the pan and melt it by adding jaggery and some water. After the jaggery melts, add all the roasted ingredients to it. When the mixture cools down a bit, mix it well with hands and make laddus. Eating one laddu with milk every day will give relief from body pain and joint pain.
