Ingredients for making Motichoor Laddu
1 cup gram flour
1/3 tsp baking powder
1/3 tsp orange food colour
2/4 cup cold milk
Ghee for frying
1 cup sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
Method of making Motichoor Laddu
Mix gram flour, baking powder and milk in a bowl and prepare its batter.
While preparing the batter, keep in mind that the batter should be very smooth.
After this, heat ghee in a pan and take out small boondi from it and leave the boondi to cool.
To prepare the syrup, add sugar, orange food colour, lemon juice and 1/2 cup water in a pan and cook for about 5 minutes
After this, add pistachios, melon seeds, saffron threads, cardamom powder and rose essence.
Now put this syrup on flame again and add boondi to it and cook for 3 minutes while stirring continuously on low flame.
Take it out in a vessel and cool it for 10 minutes. After this, make round laddus from it.
After making the laddu, you can decorate it by adding dry fruits on top. If you want, stick silver foil on it.
