Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should change his name to Election Gandhi. Criticizing the Congress for not fulfilling the promises made to the backward classes during the 2023 assembly elections, Rama Rao has called the announcement of backward classes 100 percent lie.
Reacting to Tuesday’s assembly session, Rama Rao wrote on a social media post that the Congress government shamelessly spread lies in the name of the announcement related to backward classes. He wrote – Lies! So many lies! Nothing but lies! Yesterday’s assembly session made two things clear to the people of Telangana. A failed government, which has no clarity and the lies that you shamelessly spread in the name of the announcement related to backward classes.
On the caste survey report presented in the assembly, KTR said that the government has no information about the data presented yesterday, but it is clear that you never intended to work towards 42 percent backward class reservation. Your Congress government taking a U-turn and then shamelessly putting the responsibility on the central government shows how committed you are. It has been proved once again that all your guarantees, promises and announcements are nothing but political showoffs.
KTR told Rahul Gandhi that you should change your name to Election Gandhi. Your announcement regarding the backward class is completely false and your commitment is just a showoff. In the assembly, KTR had accused the Congress government of failing to introduce a bill for 42 percent reservation and said that they have betrayed the backward classes as per the promise made in the Kamareddy BC declaration meeting.
