US Senate approves Kash Patel, becomes the first Indian-American chief of FBI

Washington: The US Senate approved Kash Patel as the new director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). With this, 44-year-old Patel has become the first Indian American to head the FBI. According to the report, Kash Patel got the approval of the Senate with 51/49 votes.

US President Donald Trump has officially signed the commission to confirm Kash Patel as the ninth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
