The new route from Delhi to UP border will make travel easier, you will reach Delhi border in 10 minutes

New Delhi:  Delhiites are going to get a new route after Holi. This will make their movement easier. Both time and money will be saved. Through this route, one can reach the Delhi border in just 10 minutes. Not only this, many cities of Delhi NCR are also going to get relief from this route. This route being prepared by the National Highway Authority of India is almost ready.

People of the capital Delhi have to first go to Loni Border to go to Loni Border, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar. It takes more than half an hour to reach here from Akshardham. After this, it also takes time to complete the further journey. But after Holi, Delhi Border can be reached in about 10 minutes through this new route.

Delhi-Dehradun 212 km Delhi Dehradun Highway is being built starting from Akshardham in Delhi and going through Khekra, Shamli, Saharanpur to Dehradun. The work on the initial part of 31.6 km from Akshardham to EPE Crossing (Khekra) is almost complete. Its trial has been done. Only the finishing work has been completed.

According to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), this highway will be opened from Akshardham to March by January. Because the deadline for its completion is March 2025. Because of this, it will be opened to the public on time. It has been made elevated for 18 km. Along with 6-lane, a 6-lane service road has also been prepared.

After its launch, people going from Delhi to Ghaziabad, Loni, Baghpat will get a lot of relief. Apart from this, people going towards Sonia Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Yamuna Pushta of East Delhi will get convenience. One will be able to go directly from Akshardham via the expressway.

The Delhi Dehradun Highway is being constructed in four parts at a cost of Rs 12,000 crore. Starting from Akshardham, it will go to Dehradun through Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur districts. The work of the first and second part from Akshardham to EPE Junction (Khekra) has been completed. According to NHAI, the work of the remaining part will be completed this year.
