Cyber Police have taken action against those who are spreading fake versions of Mohanlal’s film ‘Empuraan’. The police have removed some parts of the movie Empuraan from some websites. Those who downloaded these have also been found. Cyber SP Ankit Ashok said that action will be taken against those who are spreading the visuals if a complaint is received. The SP informed that even without receiving any complaint, the sites spreading fake versions have been blocked.
Empuraan is the sequel to Prithviraj’s directorial debut Lucifer, which was released in 2019. For this reason, it has also become the biggest pre-release hype from Malayalam in recent times. The film is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Sree Gokulam Movies.
The film stars Mohanlal in the lead role of Qureshi Abram/Stephen Nedumpally, and also stars Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jerome Flynn, Baiju, Sai Kumar, Andrea Tivader, Abhimanyu Singh, Sania Iyyappan, Fazil, Sachin Khadkar, Naila Usha, Jiju John, Nandu, Murugan Martin, Sivaji Guruvayur, Manikuttan, Aneesh G Menon, Sivada, Alex O’Neill, Eric Ebony, Karthikeya Dev, Mihael Novikov, Kishore, Sukant, Behzad Khan, Nikhat. The cast includes a big star cast including Khan, Satyajit Sharma, Nayan Bhatt, Shubhangi, and Jais Jose. The presence of Jerome Flynn, who is world famous for his role in Game of Thrones, has given the cast an international appeal.
