Now heat wave attack in Delhi; Winds will blow at 40 degree speed for three days; Then a western disturbance is coming

Citizens of Delhi-NCR are not expected to get any relief from the scorching heat this week. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for the National Capital Region that scorching heat is likely to blow in the coming three days i.e. 16, 17 and 18 April. Keeping this warning in mind, the department has also issued a yellow alert. People have been advised to take special precautions against this heat wave.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi will be relatively normal on April 15. The sky will be clear on this day and the winds will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour. Talking about the temperature, the maximum temperature can reach 37 to 39 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will be between 22 to 24 degrees Celsius. But the situation will change from April 16.

The weather will change again after April 18

Heat wave will start in Delhi from this day. On 16th, the maximum temperature can reach 39 to 41 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will be between 23 to 25 degrees. This situation can get worse on 17th and 18th April. On these two days, the maximum temperature is likely to be 40 to 42 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.

However, the relief is that the weather will change after April 18. According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance will be active from April 18, which will bring some relief in the weather of Delhi-NCR. On this day, the sky will be partly cloudy and the winds will also blow at a fast speed. The wind speed is likely to be 20 to 30 kilometers per hour.
The weather is expected to remain the same on 19 April. On this day, the wind speed can reach 40 kilometers per hour, due to which some drop in temperature can be seen. However, this drop in temperature will be temporary and the effect of heat will not end completely. In view of these predictions of the Meteorological Department, Delhiites need to be cautious for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has appealed to be cautious during the heat wave.

Heat wave warning in these states including Delhi-NCR

In the latest update of the Meteorological Department, heat wave warning has been issued in some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. In this too, the maximum heat wave is expected in western Rajasthan. Where it has been said that severe heat wave will prevail from 16 to 18 April. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department also says that heat wave may prevail in some places on 14 and 15 April as well. Heat wave may prevail in eastern Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana between 16 and 18 April. Whereas the effect of heat will be visible in western Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat from 15 April.

For the past one week, thunderstorms and rains had provided some relief from the heat in Delhi. However, now the heat is going to show its fierce form again. The Meteorological Department has advised people to drink adequate amount of water, wear light clothes and avoid going out of the house in the afternoon amid this intense heat and heat wave. At the same time, health experts say that problems like headache, dizziness, dehydration and heat stroke can occur in extreme heat.
