Citizens of Delhi-NCR are not expected to get any relief from the scorching heat this week. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for the National Capital Region that scorching heat is likely to blow in the coming three days i.e. 16, 17 and 18 April. Keeping this warning in mind, the department has also issued a yellow alert. People have been advised to take special precautions against this heat wave.
The weather will change again after April 18
Heat wave will start in Delhi from this day. On 16th, the maximum temperature can reach 39 to 41 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will be between 23 to 25 degrees. This situation can get worse on 17th and 18th April. On these two days, the maximum temperature is likely to be 40 to 42 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.
Heat wave warning in these states including Delhi-NCR
In the latest update of the Meteorological Department, heat wave warning has been issued in some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. In this too, the maximum heat wave is expected in western Rajasthan. Where it has been said that severe heat wave will prevail from 16 to 18 April. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department also says that heat wave may prevail in some places on 14 and 15 April as well. Heat wave may prevail in eastern Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana between 16 and 18 April. Whereas the effect of heat will be visible in western Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat from 15 April.
