Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra has given his reaction on the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He said that the terrorists killed people after seeing their identity cards because they feel that Muslims are being suppressed in the country. This statement of Robert Vadra has created a political controversy. BJP has targeted Robert Vadra. BJP leader Shahzad Poonawala has called it a shameful statement.
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra said that I feel very bad and my deepest condolences are with the people killed in this terrorist attack. In our country we see that this government talks about Hindutva and minorities feel uncomfortable and disturbed. If you analyze this terrorist attack, if they (terrorists) are looking at the identity of the people, then why are they doing this? Because a division has been created between Hindus and Muslims in our country.
He said that this will make such organizations feel that Hindus are creating problems for all Muslims. Seeing the identity and then killing someone, this is a message for the Prime Minister, because Muslims and minorities are feeling weak. The message should come from above that we feel safe and secular in our country and we will not see such acts happening.
BJP has called Robert Vadra’s statement shameful. BJP leader Shahzad Poonawala said that this is the most shameful, atrocious statement given by the Congress party, Robert Vadra at the behest of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi to defend Pakistani terrorists, whitewash this crime of Islamic Jihad by giving it a clean chit and blame Hindus and justify terrorism. After 26/11 they blamed Hindus, after the Pulwama attack they blamed the security forces.
BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya expressed surprise while sharing the video on social media platform X. The BJP leader wrote that Shocking! Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra is shamelessly defending the terrorist act and giving protection to terrorists instead of condemning them. He does not stop here but is blaming India for the atrocities committed by Pakistani terrorists.
