Kudumbashree’s ‘Thirike School’ campaign set a new precedent

Irinjalakuda (Thrissur): Minister of Higher Education and Social Justice Department R Bindu flagged off the marathon organized by the CDSs under the leadership of the CDSs in the Iringalakuda block of Thrissur district as part of the Kudumbashree ‘Thirike School’ campaign. The Minister said that the ‘Back to School’ campaign implemented by Kudumbashree is a new model for the world.

It is a matter of pride that Kudumbashree women reach the school in search of new avenues of education and knowledge. Classes related to women empowerment, digital education, beneficial initiatives for local economic development etc. have been prepared in the back to school campaign. The campaign will run from October 1 to December 10. About 600 Kudumbashree workers who come under Iringalakuda block participated in the marathon.

CDS Chairperson, Iringalakuda 1, Pushpavathi presided over the function. Karalam Panchayat President Seema Premraj, Standing Committee Chairpersons of Iringalakuda Municipality Ambika Pallipuram, Jisha Jobi, Assistant District Mission Coordinator SC Nirmal, CDS Chairpersons, Block Coordinators and other Kudumbashree members of Iringalakuda block limits participated.
