Kochi: A transformative wave in dental care is set to sweep across India as the World Implant Expo concludes, providing a platform for dental experts and students from Kerala and beyond to incorporate cutting-edge techniques. The three-day expo served as a bridge, fostering the exchange of knowledge on complex dental issues and advanced treatments, mirroring practices in countries like America and Europe.
Dental treatment, predominantly championed by the United States, Europe, Middle East and South East Asia follows distinct methodologies. By facilitating the sharing of insights from global experts, the Expo aims to uphold a tradition of world-class dental treatment in India. The event delved into addressing treatment failures and discussing successful modifications, an unprecedented feat with 40 world-renowned implantologists leading dedicated sessions on this critical topic over three days.
Dr. Shankar Iyer, Chairman of World Implant Expo and Director of Malo Smile USA, expressed optimism about the transformative impact the Expo could have on the careers of dentists and students, providing them with newfound knowledge beyond their academic studies.
Melvin Mendonca, Expo Marketing Director, and Dentist Channel CEO highlighted the uniqueness of the event, emphasizing that never before have experts gathered to extensively discuss overcoming treatment failures in such a comprehensive manner. Aboobaker Siddiq, COO of Dentist Channel, noted the richness of the expo’s first-time organization in Kerala, bringing together experts, teachers, professionals, and students, facilitating exposure to the best dental practices in the region.
Organized by Dentist Channel in collaboration with Smile USA Academy, ADA CERP USA, Pace Academy USA, Roseman University USA, and LEZK FFS Germany, the Expo featured over forty experts from seven countries, leading sessions that engaged more than five hundred professionals and students over the course of three days.
